Anterior arthroscopic-assisted fixation of posterior cruciate ligament avulsion fractures
BACKGROUND Avulsion fractures of the tibial insertion of the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) have always been regarded as rare injuries. The tibial attachment of the PCL is located in an area, which is difficult to access. HYPOTHESIS To verify the effects of anterior arthroscopic fixation of PCL avulsion fractures. METHODS 18 patients with PCL avulsion fracture were included. The inclusio...
متن کاملArthroscopic Wire Fixation of Avulsion Fractures of the Posterior Cruciate Ligament from the Tibia
Backgound:ligament advanced reinforcement system is a graft choice for ligament reconstruction,we used ligament advanced reinforcement system Y-shape double bundles to reconstruction the posterior cruciate ligament,it's necessary to know the clinical effect of this technique. Method:A retrospective analysis was conducted among 11 patients with posterior cruciate ligament injuries, who were enro...
متن کاملSuture Bridge Fixation Technique for Posterior Cruciate Ligament Avulsion Fracture
We presented a surgical technique including a suture bridge technique with relatively small incision for the reduction and fixation of posterior ligament avulsion fractures. A suture anchor was used to hold the avulsed fragment and a knotless anchor was used to continuously compress the bony fragment into the fracture site, thereby maintaining reduction during healing.
متن کاملOpen Reduction and Internal Fixation of Isolated Posterior Cruciate Ligament Avulsion Fractures: Clinical and Functional Outcome
Purpose The posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) presents commonly with avulsion fractures of its tibial attachment. An avulsion fracture of the PCL, if not surgically fixed, may lead to secondary changes in the knee joint. Various fixation techniques have been explored with use of lag screws, steel wires, absorbable screws, suture anchors and straddle nails. The purpose of this study was to evalu...
متن کاملPosterior Cruciate Ligament Tibial Avulsion treated with Open Reduction and Internal Fixation
The optimal treatment for thoracolumbar fractures (TLF) without neurological deficit remains controversial. Majority of the systematic reviews and meta-analyses have evaluated open operative approaches but have yet to compare the outcomes of minimally invasive percutaneous pedicle fixation (MIPPF) versus non-operative treatment. A retrospective cohort study was performed to compare clinical and...
